A mistake made long ago…

Pain buried so deep…

When Bailey Trent returns home to her small little Ozark mountain town after being away for nearly six years, she knows she’ll face the ghosts of her past. It does not mean she’s prepared to come face to face with the cruelest of those memories.

Darren Cory’s life is a shell of what it once was, and when he’s forced to endure the cause of his agony, hatred abounds quickly. But hating Bailey destroys him too.

Can Darren find a way to move past the pain and forgive the woman he once cared so much for before his anger consumes them both? Or will he drag them into the hell of an unforgiven past?

I found Unforgiven to be the love story of a lifetime.  All us girls I think pick out who we will marry when we are little, but very rarely does life work out that way.  Bailey’s dream husband is actually within her reach, until that tragic night when her world shattered.  Six years later they are face to face again and his hatred is almost more than Bailey can bear, but fate steps in.

Darren can’t believe he’s face to face with the person who destroyed his life, but also the only woman he has ever loved but never blossomed that love.  As Bailey and Darren try to move on, the magnetic pull is working its wonders, but at what cost.  Darren can't see past his hurt and hate and he is at times downright cruel to Bailey, which of course she thinks she deserves.  Will love truly conquer all?  Can it?

Unforgiven is a wonderful love story of two people who always knew they should be together but through stubbornness and circumstance took many years to get there.
