Men of Treasure Cove #7
by: Rebecca Joyce
Contemporary Erotica / BDSM / Menage
Released: October 2013
Macie Lynn Owens loved her life. She did what she wanted, when she wanted, and nobody was going to tell her otherwise. She gave up the silly dream of finding a man, children, and happily ever after. Accepting what life had dished out to her, she never looked back, until one night changed everything.
When fate knocks and gives Matthew and Andrew Jenkins a second chance, they grab on with both hands and refuse to let go. However, convincing the spitfire diner owner to accept their claim is harder than they thought. When two shocking dinner guests arrive unexpectedly, they have a new bargaining chip, and they aren’t afraid to use it.
As the town gears up for its bicentennial Founders Day Parade, a blast from the past returns, causing more trouble than the town can handle. As the pots and pans start flying, the residents must stand together to save everything they hold dear, or watch it all burn.
It's amazing how fast things can go wrong. More amazing how guilt can keep one from achieving what they really want. This was an amazing book, loved it! It had history and took a bit to get through that, but now that I've finished the book I can see why Ms. Joyce put in all the details. Matthew as a young man ran away to cope, and came back home to fix. Andrew's a doctor so of course he tries to fix everything, and after med school he comes back home. Then there's Maci--smart, quick wit, stubborn, and a mouth as bad as any old salty sailor. She's learned to cope with the life fate dealt with the best way possible, at least she thinks she has.
All three of these people live in a privately owned, diverse and accepting little town. Where old secrets loom upon the horizon, old shadows haunt from the past. A town were mixed marriages are just the thing. I will be going back and reading the other ones. Not quite a stand alone, but you can read it and make sense of it without reading the others.
Maci is okay with having them Dom her in the bedroom, of course they do it so well. Passion reigns supreme for Maci as her body and mind is tested by her Doms. I loved the scenes, but my favorite one was the tunnel. Yep, now go read it.
What they show in caring for each other they lack in communicating, not just Maci but the men as well. Each of their limits will be tested and it has nothing to do with the BDSM, but in their everyday life with each other.
Ms. Joyce keeps you reading, wanting to know what the end will bring. Will all three finally get on the same page? Will a ghost from the past achieve the goal it's plotting for? Will Maci be able to step into the darker side of the lifestyle? Soo many questions...read and get the answers. Enjoy! I did.
