Not many people pick Florida in August for a long weekend vacation. But Jen Hodges isn’t there for the theme parks or the beaches. She’s there to spend some alone-time, thinking and coming to terms with a relationship that she’s afraid is heading downhill fast.
The last thing she’s anticipating is a giant bug in her shower. Followed by the appearance of an amazingly gorgeous tall, dark and handsome man at the door of her room. He’s the concierge/manager/bug disposal unit, and before Jen realizes it, she’s whirled into an affair that hits her switches, frizzes her hair and blows her flip-flops all the way to Arkansas.
It’s unbelievably passionate, and as scorching as the Florida sunshine. But will it help her make the right choice for her future? Or is she simply falling into a steamy summer romance that is too good to be true?
Falling was a delightful hot little read. I normally don’t go for short stories but this one was very well written and the characters were fantastic.
Jen has come to Florida during the off season to clear her head and hopefully sort out her current relationship and why she feels it’s lacking. Introduce one hot as hell concierge to the rescue who is immediately captivated by Jen but senses the unease in her and sets out to help her in any way he can.
Loved Loved Loved this book, it was short but it definately wasn’t lacking in any area, Jen & Cris are hot hot hot and both characters are quick witted and hilarious. Humor, love and seduction, what a great combination.
