What would you do if the slightest touch brought you visions of death? From a young age, Ember has been haunted with visions of how people will die, and so she became a recluse.  Armed with her best friend Raven, Ember braves the community who believes that she killed her father and cruel classmates that torment her.

A chance meeting with a mysterious boy that silences the visions and for the first time Ember feels peace.  Asher Morgan’s sexy dark manner calms her mind, but quickens her pulse as their attraction continues to grow.  When a series of deaths begin to happen with details that mimic Ember’s father's, the town once again focuses on her as the prime suspect.

So many questions and Asher seems to have the answers to what she really is.  A Grim Angel? A battle as old as time between the Grim Reapers and Angels of Death rages and Ember must find her way alone.

Such an amazing story!  Chuck full of history and complexity that with each chapter more of the mystery that is Ember is revealed.  I clung to every word trying to figure out who was on which side.  Bravo Jessica!  The characters and storyline are unique and exciting. My heart aches for Ember and Asher and I look forward to reading the next in the series.
