What do you get when you take a 21st century gamer and transport her back to the 19th century?  You get Jamie Marten.

When Jamie is sucked through the mirror of an antique piece of furniture she finds herself taken back to 1816 and in the bedroom of the Earl of Dunnington.  Who of course does not believe her tale of being from the future, at least not at first.

Micah Axelby cannot believe that the woman he found knocked out cold in his bedroom is from the another time but how can he explain away her clothing, speech and that little gadget she calls a cell phone.  What he does know is that he needs to get her to go away or it could ruin his chances at making a match and finding his Countess.

Even though Jamie is stuck in an era she feels she does not belong as the days go by she finds herself drawn to the man that has taken her in.  Is it possible for two people from different worlds to find love and keep it, or will Jamie find her way back to her time and leave Micah behind?

I could not stop chuckling from the minute Jamie landed literally on Micah’s bedroom floor.  The constant banter between the two will have you laughing and the romance that blossoms will have you sighing.  Throw in a little danger and you have the perfect historical/contemporary romance.  This is the first book I have read by Ms. Lamm but it will most definitely not be the last. If you are looking for a fun book with a twist then this is the one for you.
