“Overworked CEO
Ellison Thorne has no time for sex, let alone romance. The only answer, at
least where his retiring business partner Beverly is concerned, is a no-strings
sex clause in her replacement’s contract, designed to make Ellis’ busy life
easier – and hotter. But she’s joking, right?
When Dee Henning takes
over Beverly’s job, sparks fly between her and Ellis, but work takes priority
in driven Dee’s life too. Can one night of passion in a Paris hotel room prove
Beverly’s Sex Clause is their secret to success in the boardroom and the bedroom,
and what will happen if that private clause becomes public knowledge?”
What an amazing love story although I would classify this
book at Erotic Romance rather than just Romance. I have to say after the first chapter I
thought I had this book totally figured out, and I couldn’t have been happier
to be both wrong and right. I couldn’t
put this book down, I read through it in one day….a work day at that. J
Ellis and Dee are sexually explosive; their comings together
are nothing short of scorching. However,
“The Executive Sex Clause” has both of them overlooking just how deeply they
are falling in love with each other. I
can’t say what I was right about and what I was wrong about without giving too
much away, but the story has everything, lust, betrayal, envy, death, and so
much more and also show’s us exactly how nearly lifelong dreams can come true.
While I came to love Ellis and Dee, Beverly the retiring
business partner is without a doubt my absolute favorite character, her
straight forwardness and extremely insightful, slightly denmotherish
personality really appealed to me, a prequel with a more in depth look at how
Beverly, Wade and Ellis came to be partners in the hugely successful Pneuma,
Inc. would be amazing in my view.
I’ve already purchased the next book in the three book
series “Identity Crisis” and can’t wait to dive in head first to Garrett and
Kendra’s story, and I can only guess at what the last book in the saga will
bring (praying its Wade's story) but I’ll be chomping at the bit to get to that
one too.
Favorite Line - “The man’s charm would have won her over in
a heartbeat if Ellis hadn’t already stormed the castle and taken over every bit
of space within.”
