Daniel and Kaitlyn are longtime friends who amuse themselves by their long-standing game of Truth or Dare.  Secretly in love with each other, Kaitlyn tries to repress her feelings and keep them strictly in friendship territory, while Daniel uses their silly game to try and force Kaitlyn to see how good they could be together, if she'd only give it a chance.  When Kaitlyn's new bed and breakfast becomes overbooked, the two are forced to share a room for the night.  During the magic of the Christmas season, Daniel's more than ready to prove just how deeply he's come to care for her, and that he'll do anything to make her admit her own feelings.

This was a quick read that revolves around two people who love each other, but are too stubborn to take the risk for a chance at true happiness.  I loved watching Daniel push past Kaitlyn's boundaries, trying to force her to see his feelings for her.  And when Kaitlyn finally relents, I loved seeing the more tender feelings emerge.  But Kaitlyn wasn't going to give in that easily, and it was hard sitting there, watching her possibly throw away the best thing that could have happened to her.  In the end though, it was worth the wait.  These two are great together, and I was sad to see the story end.
