Review: Training the Dom
By: Christine D’Abo
Publisher: Ellora’s Cave
Genre: BDSM, Femdom
In this follow up to Dom For Sale, it finds Master Gareth and Liz navigating the waters of their new D/s relationship. Their relationship grows in and out of the playroom, but still Gareth holds back. His past keeps him closed off to love, but he is about to meet Mistress Elizabeth who will tip his world on its axis.
Liz takes the time to learn what it will take to wake her Dom up and see what is standing right in front of him. Hopefully, the view from his knees will give him the proper perspective. It is a huge risk on Liz’s part that could backfire in her face. Can Master Gareth learn to kneel and open his heart to love?
I rooted for Liz the moment I discovered what she was planning. The plot is unique and one I enjoyed from start to finish. This is a short story that packs a powerful message with a few giggles thrown in to keep it from getting too serious. Liz and Gareth make their first appearance in Dom For Sale but Training the Dom can be read as a standalone.
