Ever since they were kids, Jack and Bree have been frenemies, competing against one another in all aspects of their lives.  When Jack receives a brown package for Bree on accident, he's shocked to find a sex toy inside.  Not able to resist the chance to tease her, he lures her to his apartment, hoping to finally act on the attraction he knows goes both ways.

Bree is determined to be a good mom to her daughter, and that includes her daughter not finding out about mom's new, ahem, toy.  She's mortified Jack found out about her purchase, yet is strangely aroused at the thought of him watching her use it.  One night of cybersex leaves her aching for more, but determined not to give in to her urges.  Will Jack be able to change her mind?

This was a hot steamy short story, with lots of voyeurism and plenty of feeling.  Bree doesn't want to parade a string of lovers and boyfriends in front of her daughter, so chooses instead the battery-powered variety to keep her from being lonely at night.  When her friend/rival Jack finds out, she both terrified and turned on.  It's fun to watch the two interact, because you really can feel they've known each other forever, and even though the two bicker constantly, you can catch the undertones of affection and lust.  I definitely plan on rereading this one.
