Trapped alone on a scientific outpost for five years, Mirian burns for human companionship.  Her only friend is an intelligent carnivorous plant, but she can't even have a conversation with him.  When a ship appears, she's estatic, especially when she sees the sexy Balazoid and his beefcake lover.  After watching the intimacy between the two, she longs to join in.  Figuring she has nothing to lose, she offers her body to them, to use as they see fit.  She doesn't expect anything long-term, and vows to enjoy herself while she can.  But what she doesn't realize is that the two have decided to keep Mirian as their breeder, and will fight anyone who stands in their way to claim their woman.

Poor Marian is the only human on the planet for five years, so when two hunky men show up, she thinks it's her lucky day.  And when she finds out they're lovers, but are willing to take her as their third, she's convinced it can't get any better than this.  But being with the two men means losing her precious freedom, and that's not something she's sure she can do.  Mirian must battle her demons if she's to have any chance at happiness.  For the two men, they were banished from their planet for being openly gay, but one look at Mirian makes them long for things they cannot have.  It's a great story about the passions of needs of three people, and they lengths and sacrifices they're willing to make for a chance at happiness.
