“Calypso Halloran sees the future...a useful talent for a veteran street cop. A no-nonsense sergeant in charge of a tough night shift, she enjoys a yearly vacation in Summerland Key, Florida...her very own paradise. But her serene world is upended when a sexy stranger walks into her life bearing a life-changing secret and wielding an attraction she feels helpless to resist.
Athan Antares is “the” Scorpio. He exudes sex, he's bad-ass and he's out to protect the future ruler of the Twelfth House of Pisces...If only she knew. In a race against time, Athan must convince the pragmatic Calypso that she is more than she seems, that those she cares for the most are in danger, and her acceptance of her new life is the key to preventing her own murder.
Persuading her will be easy. Refraining from seducing her, however, won’t.”
Oh did I ever mention how much the Zodiac fascinates me? Imagine my glee to stumble across a book series with roots set in the Zodiac and the series begins with the Eighth House of Scorpio, which I of course am a member of J. Calypso is a tough witty gal who has had her share of tragedy in her life and Athan is there to upend her life with the news he has to share with her, that she is in fact the future ruler of the Twelfth House of Pisces, a world she doesn’t even know exists awaits her and the journey ahead is hot and steamy with Athan around.
