This is your typical Love at First Sight story….told the Jennifer Probst way which is nothing short of amazing. Have you read The Marriage Bargain yet? If not do so NOW! Her books have quickly made it to the top of my Contemporary Romance watch list.
This is a short story about third grade teacher Isabella Summers is suffering from the holiday blues a bit when she meets the dashing Aidan Hunter who she takes an immediate disliking to, yet she can’t deny the scorching attraction that hits her when they meet. After their brief first encounter Aiden can think of nothing but her, he doesn’t even have a name, when he’s dragged unwillingly to a holiday party and finds himself face to face with her again.
As the evening progresses Isabella opens up to Aiden about her past heartbreak over being “not good enough” for the rich man she once loved and the pain of not being loved for who she was.
As the weeks progress Isabella and Aiden grow closer and closer, but a secret threatens to destroy what they have found together. “Can love and truth triumph”? You will have to pick this one up to find out.
