Juliette was named the Duchess of Dalliance as she is one of the most sought after courtesans in London. That is except for one man whom is linked to her in the gossip rags but she has never even been introduced to, William the sixth Duke of Pelham.
When Pelham discovers that he is being talked about as the latest of a long string of men to grace this woman who calls herself a Duchess he has every intention to put an end to the gossip. You see Pelham is one of those men that has his whole life planned out right to the minute, when he eats, when he goes for a walk and there is no place in his plan for any disruptions.
When Juliette witnesses a murder she has no one to turn to but Pelham since unknown to him he is now involved in the mess she has found herself in. So, when she shows up on his doorstep everything Pelham thought he had control over is now in total chaos.
Shana Galen has brought us a story of humor and entertainment that will have you turning the pages. Juliette knows just what buttons to push to get William so frustrated you cannot help but laugh at her antics. When you throw in the suspense of stolen goods and murders you will be totally engrossed until the last word is read. High praise for Ms. Galen and I am hoping that the Duchess two friends have their own stories coming and that they are just as enjoyable.
