Expecting to die after being captured by terrorists, army
brat, Jennifer DeMarco, fought to survive against all hope. Little did she know
that an elite group of military soldiers, VM Squad 3, made up of vampires, were
prepared to save her before her demise.
Patrick O’Callaghan, a reformed vampire who drank any kind
of blood but human, has found his mate. All he has to do is bring her out
alive. The squad would have to remove her memory to keep them safe as well as
her though it wouldn’t last for long as the details of the rescue and the hunky
vampire who’d come for her returned. How she’d find him again was a chore she
was up to.
Alas, as luck would have it the hypnosis didn’t last and she
realized she wanted him, determined to find him again. After being shot during
a robbery, Jennifer lies at deaths door until she is turned by Patrick who
can’t live without her.
Short but sweet, this tale warms the heartstrings. I’d like
to read more books by Rebecca Royce in the near future.
