Never in her life did Elspeth believe she would be kidnapped
from her own wedding, but when a man comes through the doors while still on his
horse and pulls her onto his horse she finds herself in the hands of the man
called Mad Rob.
Rob has been set on revenge for the death of his wife and
now he is able to extract that revenge when his enemy is about to marry. What he did not plan on is the sweet woman he
has taken.
With her intended and father on their trail with their
clansmen it becomes a adventure in trust, love and truth. Is it possible for Mad Rob to actually still
have a heart and able to feel and will he be able to protect Elspeth from a
life of misery and keep her with him.
Connie Mason has always been a master at writing a story
that takes you back to a time gone by and full of romance, but when you add Mia
Marlowe to the mix you end up with an amazing tale of discovery and love. I
could almost envision the scenes as they played out they were so detailed and
well written. And who doesn’t love a man
who can be ruthless when he needs to and in the next moment show his emotions
of heartbreak. Both Ms. Mason and Ms.
Marlowe grace my bookshelf and they will continue with stories like this one.
