Officer Danielle is shocked to find out the serial killer she's chasing is actually a black and green skinned alien.  As if that wasn't bad enough, the overpowering lust she feels upon first seeing him is both unwelcome and darkly thrilling at the same time.  When he comes towards her, claiming she belongs to him, she shoots him, never figuring that would be his version of foreplay.

Krol has come to Earth to claim Danielle, the human mate for him.  He doubts she can handle his sexual appetite, but knows she's the only chance at continuing his species.  He never expects to find all that fire and passion inside her.  And when she shoots him, well, he thinks he may have met his perfect match after all.

This was a quick sci-fi story about an alien and the woman destined to be his.  The story starts out with them meeting, then him hunting her through the woods before they have crazy alien sex on the ground.  I had issues with the way Danielle's emotions were written during that scene, because it was dangerously close to sounding like he was raping her, regardless of her body's reactions.  As the book progresses, that issue disappears, and the two start to follow the usual patterns of two people getting to know one another.  It was a quick read, and despite the choppy start, I didn't mind it.
