Doctor Lili Carter is not just a doctor but also a witch
healer. She returns to Crying Souls
Hospital in search of her
friend who has disappeared and soon discovers things are not right at the
hospital. Lili is soon invited by the head of the hospital Dr. Mortimer into
his research area where she encounters shadow demon Jared.
Branded as dangerous Jared as the ability to use the shadows
to get away from his prison at the hospital for short periods of time and what
better place to go to then the new doctors.
Lili and Jared are soon in a race to find out what is
happening at the hospital and what Dr. Mortimer is up to or will they end in
failure and be torn apart forever.
A Demon Does It Better is the sequel to Linda Wisdom’s Demon’s
Are A Girls Best Friend but I discovered it is a stand alone book and can be
read separate from the first. I felt it
was a little predictable as I figured out what was going to happen before I
turned the next page with the exception of what was truly happening to all of
the staff that came up missing and what Dr. Mortimer was up to. I found Jared so easy to fall for no matter
which form he was in and Lili proved to be a strong independent woman who could
go toe to toe with Jared. It was fun reading
about Jared and Lili and their thrilling and electric story.
