Review: Lady Sophie's Christmas Wish by Grace Burrowes

Lady Sophie’s Christmas Wish
Windham Sisters #1
by Grace Burrowes
$7.99 mass market paperback
Historical Romance
Released: September 2011

All Lady Sophie wanted was some time to herself before the family Christmas gathering.  What she did not plan on was an infant and a stranger coming into her life.  She is soon to discover that maybe time alone is not what she really wishes for.

Vim is on his way to his family home after being summoned after so many years away.  Being detained by a maiden in distress looks like a good thing, until he soon finds himself falling for Sophie.

While Sophie and Vim soon begin to draw closer together all thanks to a baby and a snow storm it does not take long before Sophie’s identity is discovered when her brothers arrive to take her home.  Now Vim must decide if he lets her go forever or does he deal with his own past and go after her.

Grace Burrowes delivers another enjoyable read with LADY SOPHIE’S CHRISTMAS WISH.  A wonderful holiday tale of two people brought together by accident and unable to walk away with their hearts.  Reunite with Sohpie’s brothers from THE HEIR and THE SOLDIER as they will keep you laughing.  I love Ms. Burrowes writing as she brings romance, humor and a look into the regency era.  I look forward to her next book and will add this one to my keeper shelf.
