Demetrius is a Guardian of the human realm and of Argolea, he also happens to know who his soul mate is their princess but because he has a secret no one else knows he cannot do anything about claiming her so he does all he can to make her think he hates her and wants nothing to do with her.  Until her hears she is missing and to save her he will unleash the beast he has kept hidden and forget the consequences.

Isadora finds herself kidnapped by witches and a warlock who decides to use his for his own gain instead of turning her over to Atalanta.  The witches cast a fertility spell in plans of her bearing the warlock’s child.  But, when the Argonauts arrive to save her they decide to send her with Demetrius to the human realm to get her away what they did not plan is that the portal would open in a field of daemons.

When they are captured and taken to Atalanta the secret Demetrius has been hiding is revealed and Isadora feels a betrayal she does not understand since she has never felt any love lost between her and Demetrius.  And when Atalanta realizes a fertility spell had been cast she figures out a new way of taking over and getting her revenge on Argolea so he sends Demetrius and Isadora to Pandora’s Island where there will only be the two of them and the beasts that roam the island.

Demetrius must do whatever he can to save Isadora even if it kills him to try not to touch her but her being his soul mate and the spell are making it very difficult to do.  But, Isadora decides to take matters into her own hands and there is nothing Demetrius can do about it.  But, will they survive what is to come?

TEMPTED is the third book in the Eternal Guardians series and it along with the first two just keep you turning the pages it gives the reader an adrenaline rush with action, romance and of course another hero with his own demons to fight.  I read this one first and then had to go buy MARKED and ENTWINED never a big fan of mythology Elisabeth Naughton puts a different twist to it that just draws you into this whole new world.  With each book the story just grows and you get an insight to all of the characters not just the main characters but secondary as well.  I look forward to what Ms. Naughton brings next and which Argonaut will find himself immortalized between the covers of a book.  Her books will definitely be finding a spot on my keeper shelf.
