$7.99 mass market paperback

Paranormal Fantasy
Released: April 2011

After rescuing the man she loves from death's door-literally-Allie's ready for some down time.  Too bad the forces that be don't agree with her.  Before she knows it, her and Zayvion are tasked with tracking down the missing leader of the Authority, who'd been kidnapped during the wild storm battle.  After the battle, very few mages were still left on the side of good, leaving their numbers severely depleted.  Now she, Zayvion, and a ragtag team must find their missing leader before it's too late.

What's worse, the Authority has come under scrutiny from the higher ups, leaving Allie and gang very little time to set things right before marshall law is declared on the Authority.  And a change of leadership right now is something they'll try to avoid at all costs.

In this book the stakes get raised, because a change of leadership means a total overhaul of how the Authority is run, meaning Allie's somewhat gray area uses of magic will no longer be tolerated.  This one was an edge of your seat thriller.  I lost so much sleep while reading this series, but it was totally worth it to me.  Now I'm stuck because I've read them all so far, and now I have to wait for the next one to hit bookshelves.
