Then, Riley starts to receive threatening notes and packages. She is also being followed by two dirty smelly werewolves who try to kidnap her at one point.
Enter Jack Chandler, who moves in next door just as all of the above antics are taking place. Jack is a hot and sexy human psychiatrist that Riley would really like to get to know better, but hanging over Riley’s head is a family curse that she is convinced will keep her from ever finding her own love. Should she tell Jack that she is a werewolf? Will he believe her? How does she explain all of the weird things happening around her? Will Jack think she’s crazy?
This book is really a cross between paranormal romance and urban fantasy. It’s got some action and chases to fit the bill for urban fantasy lovers and a little romance for those paranormal romance fans. It’s fun and easy to read, with a little humor thrown in as well. Although, I did enjoy reading this book, I wish that some of the action would have taken place a little sooner. It took a little long to set things up, but once things got going it was fun to read. Even though there is a little danger and some serious threats this book is never dark. If you like a quirky lighthearted read then you will enjoy this book.
