Javan has his ship, the clothes on his back...and nothing else.  After his ex-wife took him to the cleaners, he's left with few options.  After struggling for years as a trader, he's offered a contract that seems too good to be true--carry a human female to a planet on the outer reaches of space, and in return, he'd get enough money to live comfortably for years.  The catch--no questions asked.  Hey, for that much money, he's more than happy to go along with it.

When he meets Sola, his passenger for the next few months, he's blown away by her beauty.  Suddenly, he finds himself wondering why she's traveling to the other side of the galaxy, but knows he can't ask.  She tells him she's heading to an arranged marriage, and wants to have a bit of fun before she's forced into a loveless marriage.  Javan jumps at the idea, and quickly jumps into bed with her.

But his sexy bunkmate isn't quite as innocent as she lets on.  She's got her own agenda, and she's not above doing whatever's necessary to see her goals completed...

This was a short story about two people brought together by unusual circumstances who find themselves drawn to each other.  It's about deciding what's most important in life, and making the decision and grabbing it with both hands.  It was a good book, but I think it could have been a little longer.  It almost seemed like the book read in fast forward, trying to get everything in before the end of the book.  Lengthening the book would help.
