When Lilith is told by her doctor that she only has months to live, she realizes life just is not fair.  She just found love with a wonderful man, how can she bring herself to tell him that their time together is going to be cut short.

Aidan has been lying to Lilith himself, keeping what he is from her does not sit well with him but he is afraid he will lose her if she knew he was a vampire. Now that he knows about Lilith’s illness there is only one thing he can do to make sure that she lives a long life but it is illegal to change a human but isn’t having the one you love with you worth the risk.

Once Lilith learns who Aidan is she must decide stay human and die or allow him to change her and have eternity with the man she loves.

Wonderful story of love, betrayal and learning to trust again I was hoping for it to go on and would love to see the story expanded into a full length book. It shows the fear not only Lilith’s of dying but Aidan’s of loosing the woman he loves. Shona Husk is one to watch.
