Shadow of the Dragon #3
by: Tielle St. Clare
Fantasy Erotica / Shifter
Released: November 2009
Prince Bren has given up on finding a mate. Even if Tynan, the dragon who cohabits his body, finds a mate, Bren refuses to bow to his dragon's wishes. If he picks a woman, it will be because he chooses her, not the other way around.
But fate seems to have other ideas. At a party, Bren is given a concubine for the night, and his dragon takes one sniff and declares her his mate. The next night his dragon scents a totally different woman and declares her to be his mate. When this happens a third time, Bren's struck speechless. Such a thing should be impossible, but for some reason, Tynan has chosen three women to be his mate.
What's even worse, although he vowed to never take a woman as a dragon's mate, his body burns with desire for all three women Tynan has claimed.
This is the third book in the series, and while it's helpful to read them in order, it's not necessary. This story is about Bren, the eldest son to the king, and part dragon. He knows from watching his parents what can happen if a dragon thinks his mate is threatened, and doesn't want to go through the ordeal himself. Instead he's devoted himself to helping his father run the kingdom. All that changes one night while at a royal convention. He's given a concubine for the night, and the dragon declares her his mate. The lust between Bren and the woman is explosive and unavoidable, and he goes with it, but only for the night. When his dragon claims two other women the next two nights, Bren has no idea what's going on, and vows to get to the bottom of it.
Anyone who enjoys a hot steamy dragon shifter series should definitely give Tielle St. Clare a try.
