Released: December 2010
Princess Naloni has heard of the atrocities commited at the Festival of Venus, and vows to put a stop to it. Sneaking in, she's stunned by the blatant carnal acts performed out in the open, and is strangely turned on by them. And when she sees two men wrestling in the arena, naked, their bodies glistening with oil, she can't help but be affected by the sight.
Little does she know they're planning an escape attempt. In the chaos, she's taken hostage, and dragged away with the two men, one of which she one shared an erotic interlude with.
Max had no idea his friend was going to attempt to escape, and he never expected his friend to take Princess Naloni as a hostage. He's never stopped thinking about her, even though she's a princess, and he's just a lowly enslaved gladiator. Now he must stay one step ahead of her father's guards, while trying to ignore the burning need he has for her.
This is book 3 in the series, and you can tell when you read it. While the story was fairly easy to follow, they do make mention of past characters and events, so I'd recommend starting with book 1, just to make the story flow better. It was a great love story with intrigue, action, adventure and lots of sex. I enjoyed it.
