Overcome by grief with the death of her son, Avery is hell bent on her revenge. Nothing is going to get in her way or so she thought. Until her ex-husband, Mason shows up on the day she is supposed to marry the twin brother of the man she holds responsible for her sons death. Mason sees that Avery has let her need for revenge consume her and he is determined to not let her end up in prison, even if it means he has to break the law and kidnap her.

They both have been dealing with the death of their son, David but they were not able to help each other with the grief at the time which resulted in divorce. Now four years later Mason has kidnapped Avery and took her back to the cabin they honeymooned at in order to talk her out of her revenge. Little do they know that each other still loves the other and the fire that consumes them once again.

After a couple of days with Mason, Avery realizes that she has to let go of her revenge and let the cops get the guy responsible for their sons death. While Avery was out walking to the graveyard, she finds herself in danger. The guy she was so hell bent on getting her revenge on has caught up with her, and he knows that she has been with Mason. Avery's only hope is that everything will turn out the way it should.

For such a short book, I really enjoyed it. It had a good background into the characters and I like how everything turned out in the end. I would recommend this book for a quick read.
