Historical Romance

Lady Isabel Townsend has secrets she cannot let anyone learn but times have become hard thanks to her wastrel father who left her with nothing but a leaky roof. When she has no choice but to sell her most prized possession she seeks out the help of Nicholas St. John well known for his knowledge of marbles.

Nicholas St. John needs to escape London thanks to a paper naming him one of the top Lords to be landed so when his chance to get away is dropped in his lap he is more than happy to leave London behind. When in search of a missing person brings him to the home of Isabel Townsend and something is not right in this home and he is bound to figure out what it is.

Nicholas gradually starts to learn some of the secrets that Isabel is trying to hide and now feels he must do everything in his power to help her but she is so stubborn how is a man suppose to be a gentleman when he can’t decide if he wants to strangle her or kiss her.

TEN WAYS TO BE ADORED WHEN LANDING A LORD is full of humor that it will have you chuckling from cover to cover. MacLean is on her way to a wonderful career as an author and I can’t wait to read her next excerpt in this series.
