Well slap me in suntan lotion and rev up the engines! This tale of romance on the high seas has a tough as nails female body guard and a hunky junior lover who adores stirring up more than just her anger.

Hired to protect a self-made millionaire from modern day pirates on a private yacht during a two week Caribbean cruise, forty-year-old Jessica Summers soon finds that she’s the one who needs protection…from him!

Though twelve years younger than Jess, Sean McCloud is irresistibly drawn to the petite woman who he doubts can fight her way out of a paper box yet soon finds she’s more than a match for him and anyone else.

When Jess uses her smart mouth to protect herself from Sean’s exciting advances, she soon finds he can stop her struggles with his incredibly sensual lips and has no interest in fighting him. Alas, pirates ruin their day at the beach then Jess springs into action to rescue Sean’s mother and the crew of four.

The thought of losing Jess to a pirate’s bullet drives Sean crazy as he tries to protect her. When she’s shot, he realizes how much she means to him and wants more than a quick relationship. She’s unable to stop him in his quest to secure her hand and falls for him hook, line, and sinker.

This story had a quick pace and lots of romantic action. The ex-husband gives you the creeps and makes you want Jess to deck him! This is an excellent tale, one you should definitely pick up for a quick read.
