Who’d have thought that a simple rose tattoo could cause so much trouble? While Lucy Harper moons over her lost love after he dumped her, she becomes confused as she finds herself drawn to her new neighbor, a hunky bare-chested silent type. For some reason, he turns her on like no other and strangely enough her libido is burning out of control.

After weeks of staring at the man next door as he digs a huge hole in his yard, Lucy is more curious about what he’s like in bed than she is in what he’s planning on building…or burying. Her close friend, Oz, suddenly seems fit to satisfy her undeniable cravings for sex and they share a night of passion, only to meet up with a true to life werewolf.

When Oz and Eramus Creed, a man as mysterious as his name, meet, Lucy senses a strange friction between the two men. She’s sure that it’s not jealousy since Oz has already admitted to being a sociopath and having no emotional connection to her, yet somehow she gets the impression that Oz knows more than he’s willing to say.

Chased into Eramus’ arms by a werewolf, she’s not sure which of them wants to gobble her up more, fearful when Eramus admits that he’s a werewolf too. Now she has to decide which frying pan to sit in or leap into the flames with him.

The characters in this story are smart-mouthed and sassy, making the tale fun as the passion heats up between Lucy and Eramus who give just as good as they get. Our heroine is a feisty, strong-minded woman who doesn’t shy from a fight, standing up for herself and not taking chances with her life. They are entertaining and lively.

It was difficult not to turn the page and continue reading as the chapters left you hanging to move on to the next one. Only read this if you don’t need sleep because you won’t be able to put it down until you are cross-eyed.
