Greg has spent the past eight years working the Renaissance faire when it comes to town, and he's depressed that this year will be his last.  Once he graduates college in a couple months, he needs to move on and do the whole "real job real life" thing.

The one bright point to this year's faire is the chance to see Boone, the handsome armorer who Greg spoke to briefly last year, but can't seem to get out of his mind.  When it seems like Greg's feelings are reciprocated, he's thrilled.

But things aren't as they seem with Boone, and a shocking revelation will test the tentative bond the two have formed.  Will the feelings Greg has keep him with Boone, or will Boone's secret drive him away...forever?

This was a great m/m love story, set against the backdrop of the Renaissance Faire.  Greg's spent a year thinking about and dreaming of Boone, a blacksmith who travels with the faire.  When Boone shows interest back, Greg thinks it'll be a great summer fling, a grand huzzah to his last year at the faire.  What he doesn't expect is how quickly his feelings for Boone deepen.  When Greg learns Boone's secret, he needs to search his feelings to see if he's willing to stay with Boone.

The character interaction grabbed me from the start, and the wry humor between the two was great.  I was really able to get a good picture of who they were, as well as the world the author built.  I was disappointed to see this book end, and I would love to see more stories set in this world.
