Sitting at a bar one night, Smoke sees a pair of emerald eyes attached to a body that won't quit, and he's instantly captivated. Following the man seems like a good idea at the time, but little does he know he's about to be in over his head. A casual fling turns into something deeper, but then came that fateful day...

Smoke thought he'd found the one person he could spend his life with, but a horrible betrayal by his lover Ty crushed those dreams to dust. Determined to put his feelings for treacherous but attractive ex behind him, he resumes work running his intergalactic courier business. Fate, though, has other ideas...

Forced back into each other's lives by chance, can these two men put the past to rest, or will it consume them and their fragile relationship?

This was a very nice male/male love story between Ty and Smoke. Both men have demons in their past, and must figure out how to overcome those demons if they want to stay together. The concepts on space travel were intriguing, and I found myself spending a lot of time thinking about this story in one form or another. There were times I wanted to smack the characters for being so stubborn and bullheaded, but that is what makes a story good.  A few of the scenes could have been taken out to help streamline the story, but other than that, it was an enjoyable book.
